Canarian Surf Fruit is the oldest surf shop directly on the beach in El Médano. The former "hardware shop" was opened in summer 1985.
In 1992 under Jürgen the surf shop became something like "the place to be", especially for windsurfers. At that time there were no kiters yet. They just met and hung out together and wore "El Médano T-Shirts" as a distinctive feature. If a fin got broken, the surf shop was the first address.
Today you can find the latest and hippest clothes and accessories in the shop, which are part of a personal surf lifestyle. Of course we also offer you all the smaller and bigger designer labels that underline your individuality and are otherwise hard to get on the island. Besides the big brands like Rip Curl, Chiemsee, Ocean Earth, Timezone and Tranquillo, we also sell our own brand Canarian Surf Fruit, as well as products from the Clean Ocean Project of the Canary Islands. With this you not only look absolutely cool, but also support our environment, because the Clean Ocean Project has made it its mission to clean oceans and beaches from plastic waste.
Our Canarian Surf Fruit brand clothes are made of pure cotton and guarantee an attractive wearing comfort. Both brands, Canarian Surf Fruit as well as some products of Clean Ocean Project, were produced especially for us and are also available in our online shop.
